Haminrezai

I was born in Iran and have lived in Denmark since February 1990. For most of my life, photography was something I did out of instinct — pointing a camera at people, collecting moments, receiving enough encouragement to keep going. It was only when I took a two-year photography course in 2016 that I began to understand what I was actually doing, and why. The more control I gained over the camera, the more I enjoyed documenting my observations. Now I work in fine art — printing strictly limited editions on aluminium — at the intersection of the world I came from and the eye I have spent a lifetime developing.
