How a sale is made

Prints are not sold directly through an automated checkout on this website. Each piece is produced to order in a strictly limited edition. To enquire about a print, click the Enquire about this print button beneath any image on the Fine Art Prints page. I will reply personally with availability, price, production time, shipping options and payment details before any binding agreement is made.

Prices and currency

Indicative prices may be quoted in Danish kroner (DKK) or euro (EUR). All prices include any applicable Danish VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping is quoted separately based on destination and packaging requirements for the specific print.

Editions

Each print is produced in a strictly limited edition of no more than ten (10) copies, unless explicitly stated otherwise for a given work. Each print carries a pre-printed artist signature in the lower right corner and is individually numbered. Once an edition is sold out, it will not be reprinted.

Shipping and geographic scope

Orders are currently only accepted from Denmark. EU orders will be available shortly.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be confirmed personally in the order correspondence before any binding agreement is made.

Payment

Payment is made by bank transfer (bankoverførsel) in Danish kroner (DKK) or, where agreed in writing, in euro (EUR). Bank account details — including IBAN and SWIFT/BIC — will be provided in the order confirmation sent by e-mail. Payment details are not published on this website.

Full payment must be received before production commences. Orders are not binding until payment has been confirmed in writing by the artist.

Right of withdrawal

Fine art prints are produced to order for each buyer and therefore fall, in most cases, under the exception to the consumer right of withdrawal for goods that are manufactured to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised (Danish Consumer Contracts Act, Forbrugeraftaleloven § 18, stk. 2, nr. 3). The specific terms applicable to your purchase will be confirmed in writing before any order is placed.

Complaints and defects

If a print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please notify me by e-mail at hello@aminrezai.com within 2–3 days of receipt, and I will arrange an appropriate remedy in line with Danish consumer law (Købeloven).

Resale

The buyer of a print acquires ownership of the physical object and may resell it. However, the copyright in the underlying photograph remains with the artist at all times. The new owner may not reproduce, publish, or use the image in any commercial or public context without the artist’s written permission.

Where a print is resold through an art market professional (gallery, auction house, or art dealer) at a resale price exceeding €3,000 (approximately DKK 22,000), the artist is entitled to a resale royalty under the EU Resale Right Directive (2001/84/EC), as implemented in Danish law (Ophavsretsloven §§ 38–38f). The royalty is calculated as a percentage of the resale price (4% up to €50,000, with lower rates above that threshold). This right cannot be waived by contract.

Governing law

Any sale made through this website is governed by Danish law, and any disputes will be handled by the competent Danish courts.
